大震災から12年になります。
東日本大震災が起こったのは、今から12年前です。
2011年（平成23年）3月11日、14時46分に大きな地震が東北地方で起きました。
とても大きな地震の被害でしたので、大震災といわれています。
大きな津波が起こり、たくさんの人や家や建物が流されました。
大きな揺れや津波、火災などで、東北地方を中心に、2万2212人の人が亡くなったり、行方不明になったりしています。
生き残った人も、たくさんの人が家族を亡くしました。
福島第一原子力発電所も津波の被害で、放射性物質がもれました。放射性物質は、人の体に大きな影響を与えますので、人が住めなくなりました。
多くの人が自分の住む場所をなくしました。たくさんの人が違う場所に移りました。
今も放射能の影響で、人が住めない場所がたくさんあります。
福島第一原子力発電所の放射能の元である核燃料は、まだ残されたままです。
解決の時期はまだまだ先になります。
地震から12年が過ぎても、地震の被害は続いています。
