お金の大切さ（おかねのたいせつさ）Money is important

　お金かねは、とても大切たいせつなものです。

　多おおくの人ひとが、家か庭ていや学校がっこうで、親おやや先生せんせいから、お金かねを大切たいせつにして、むだ使づかいをしないように言いわれることがあると思おもいます。

　なぜ、むだ使づかいをしてはいけないのでしょうか。

　それは、私わたしたちが、生いきている上うえで必要ひつようなものにお金かねが使えないようになるといけないからです。

　では、生いきている上うえで必要ひつようなものとは何なにでしょうか。

　必要ひつようなものとは、衣い食住しょくじゅうに関係かんけいすることです。

　衣いとは、着きるもののことです。私わたしたち人間にんげんは、犬いぬや猫ねこのように裸はだかで生活せいかつするわけにはいきません。何なにか着きるものが必要ひつようです。着きるものを買かうためには、お金かねが必要ひつようです。

　食しょくとは、食たべるもののことです。何なにも食たべないと死しんでしまいます。食たべものや飲のみものを買かうためにもお金かねが必要ひつようです。

　住じゅうとは住すむところのことです。住すむ家いえを借かりたり買かったりするためにもお金かねが必要ひつようです。住すんでいるところでは、電灯でんとうのための電でん気きやガスストーブのためのガス、トイレに必要ひつようなトイレットペーパーなどを買かうするためにもお金かねが必要ひつようです。

　そのようなお金かねがなくなってしまうと困こまるので、むだ使づかいをしてはいけないのです。

　Money is very important.

　Many people have been told by their parents or teachers at home or at school to take good care of their money and not to waste it.

　Why is it important not to waste money?

　It is because we should not be able to spend money on things that are necessary for our survival.

　Then, what are the necessities of life?

　Necessities are things related to food, clothing, and shelter.

　Clothing is what we wear. We humans cannot live naked like dogs and cats. We need something to wear. To buy something to wear, we need money.

　Food means something to eat. If we do not eat anything, we will die. Money is also needed to buy things to eat and drink.

　Housing means a place to live. Money is also needed to rent or buy a house to live in. Where we live, we also need money to buy electricity for lights, gas for the gas stove, toilet paper for the toilet, and so on.

　We do not want to run out of such money, so we must not waste it.
