運のいい人（うんのいいひと）③ Lucky people

　世よの中なかには、運うんのいい人ひとがいます。

　脳のう科か学者がくしゃの中なか野の信のぶ子こさんは、『科か学がくがつきとめた「運うんのいい人ひと」』（サンマーク出版しゅっぱん）という本ほんの中なかで、運うんのいい人ひとについて書かいています。

　運うんのいい人ひとは、いくつかの性質せいしつをもっています。

　1ひとつめは、自じ分ぶんは運うんがいいと思おもいこんでいる人ひとです。人ひとには、どんな人ひとでも、よいこともよくないことも同おなじように起おこります。でも、運うんのいい人ひとは、よくないことが起おこっても、いいことが起おこったと思おもうことができます。

　パナソニックという有名ゆうめいな会社かいしゃを作つくった松下幸まつしたこう之の助すけさんは、船ふねから落おちておぼれそうになった時ときに、次つぎのように言いいました。

「私わたしは、運うんがいい。落おちたのが冬ふゆでなくてよかった。」

　不ふ幸こうな出来でき事ごとが起おこっても、よかったと思おもえる人ひとが、運うんのいい人です。

　2ふたつめは、自じ分ぶんが面白おもしろそうかどうかで決きめる人ひとです。人生じんせいには選択せんたくすることが必要ひつようなことがあります。その時とき、多おおくの人人ひとは、どちらが正ただしいかどうかということで決きめがちです。でも、運うんのいい人ひとは、どちらが面白おもしろそうかで決きめるそうです。

　3みっつめは、自じ分ぶんなりの幸しあわせのものさしをもっている人ひとです。人ひとがどう思おもうかではなく、自じ分ぶんがどのようなことに幸しあわせを感かんじるかをよく知しっていて、そのことを大切たいせつにする人ひとです。

Lucky people

　There are lucky people in the world.

　Brain scientist Nakano Nobuko writes about lucky people in her book, “Science has found lucky people.'” (Sunmark Publishing).

　Lucky people have several characteristics.

　The first is a person who believes he or she is lucky. Good things and bad things happen to all people in the same way. But a lucky person can think that something good has happened even if something bad has happened.

　Matsushita Konosuke, the founder of the famous Panasonic Corporation, said the following when he almost fell off a ship and drowned:

 “I am lucky that it was not winter when I fell.”

　A lucky person is one who can think that he or she is lucky even when unfortunate events occur.

　The second is a person who decides based on whether or not he or she finds it interesting. There are times in life when choices need to be made. At that time, many people tend to decide based on which is right. But lucky people decide based on which seems more interesting.

　The third is a person who has his or her own standard of happiness. They are people who know what makes them happy, not what others think, and value that.
