子どもの権利②（こどものけんり）Children’s Rights

　「子こどもの権けん利り条約じょうやく」には、子こどもの権けん利りが書かかれています。ここでは、子こどもでもわかるように、できるだけかんたんな言葉ことばで書かくことにします。

　１条いちじょう：子こどもとは？

　ここでいう「子こども」とは、18歳じゅうはっさいになっていない全すべての人ひとのことです。

　2条にじょう：差別さべつをしないこと

　どのような人種じんしゅでも、肌はだの色いろでも、性別せいべつでも、どんな言葉ことばを使つかおうと、どんな宗教しゅうきょうを信しんじようと、子こどもとその父母ふぼや保護ほご者しゃは差別さべつされないで、権けん利りは守まもられます。

　3条さんじょう：基き本的ほんてきなこと

　子こどものことを考かんがえ、行動こうどうする時ときには、子こどものためになるかどうかを一番大切いちばんたいせつにします。

　4条よんじょう：国くにがすべきこと

　国くには、あらゆることにおいて、子こどもの権けん利りが守まもられる行動こうどうをします。

　5条ごじょう：父母ふぼや保護ほご者しゃのすること

　子こどもが自みずからの権けん利りを使つかうときに、父母ふぼや保護ほご者しゃなどは、子こどもに適切てきせつに教おしえたり助たすけたり協力きょうりょくしたりすることが認みとめられています。

Children’s Rights

　The Convention on the Rights of the Child describes the rights of children. In this section, I will try to write them in simple language so that even children can understand them.

　Article 1: What is a child?

　The term “child” here refers to all persons who have not yet turned 18 years old.

　Article 2: No discrimination.

　No matter what race, color, sex, language, or religion they use or believe in, the rights of children and their parents or guardians are protected without discrimination.

　Article 3: Fundamental

　When the State considers and acts in the best interest of the child, the most important consideration is whether it is in the best interest of the child.

　Article 4: What the state should do

　The State will act in all matters in which the rights of the child are protected.

　Article 5: What parents and guardians should do

　It is permissible for parents, guardians, and others to properly teach, help, and cooperate with the child when the child uses his or her rights.
