　Snakes are often thought to be slimy because of the way they move, but when you actually touch them, you will find that they are smooth and silky.

　Some people like the feel of snakes, which is different from hairy animals like dogs and cats.

　Some people like to wear snakes around their necks like a scarf.

　Some people find it cool to see a type of snake called a cobra spreading its neck or a type of snake called a rattlesnake wagging its tail in an attempt to attack its enemies and scare them away.

　Some snakes are highly poisonous. Some people are interested in the fact that snakes are poisonous, and some keep only poisonous snakes.

　Thus, there are many reasons why people like snakes.
