オセロ　Othello

　オセロは、日に本人ほんじんが発明はつめいしたゲームのひとつです。

　長は谷せ川がわ五ご郎ろうさんというデザイナーが作つくり、1973年ねん（昭和しょうわ48年ねん）に、メガハウスという会社かいしゃから発売はつばいされました。

　オセロはボードゲームの1ひとつです。

　たて、横よこそれぞれ８はちますずつのの正方形せいほうけいの盤ばんと、表裏おもてうらを黒色くろいろと白色しろいろに塗ぬり分わけた円盤えんばん状じょうの石いしを使つかいます。

　最初さいしょに、盤ばんの真まん中なかに黒色くろいろ２ふたつと白色しろいろ２ふたつの４よっつの石いしを交こう互ごに置おきます。

　そして、２人ふたりのプレイヤーが交代こうたいで、盤面ばんめんに石いしを打うっていきます。

　相あい手ての石いしを自じ分ぶんの石いしではさむと、自じ分ぶんの石いしの色いろに変かえることができます。

　最さい後ごに、石いしの数かずが多おおい方ほうが勝かちになるゲームです。

　オセロゲームと呼よぶこともあります。ほぼ同様どうようのゲームにリバーシがあります。

　このゲームは、とても簡単かんたんなルールの遊あそびですが、勝かつためには、よく考かんがえないといけません。

「覚おぼえるのに一分いっぷん、極きわめるのに一生いっしょう」と言いわれるほど、勝かつためにはいろいろと考かんがえないと勝かつことのできないゲームです。

Othello (board game)

　Othello is one of the games invented by the Japanese.

　It was created by a designer named Goro Hasegawa and released in 1973 by a company called MegaHouse.

　Othello is a board game.

　It uses a square board with 8 squares each in the vertical and horizontal directions, and disk-shaped stones painted black and white on the front and back sides.

　First, four stones, two black and two white, are placed alternately in the center of the board.

　Then, the two players take turns placing stones on the board.

　The player can change the color of his or her stone by clipping the opponent’s stone with his or her own stone.

　The player with the most stones wins.

　It is sometimes called Othello game. An almost similar game is reversi.

　This game is played with very simple rules, but you have to think very carefully in order to win.

It is said that “it takes a minute to learn and a lifetime to master,” so you have to think a lot to win.
